Interpreters of Tomorrow…

The conference will focus on the future of our profession amidst rapid technological and global change.

“Interpreters of Tomorrow”, will discuss the impact of technology on our daily work – both solutions and challenges. Sessions will focus on information technology affecting provision of service, job searches, ways of reaching clients, and increased support for interpreters in the para-translation and para-interpreting domain.

The conference will emphasize the economic impact of using interpreters, examine methods to assess that impact and discuss ways to encourage investment in language resources.
